Penfield Forest Preserve, the Middle Fork Wildlife Area, and Kennekuk Country Park are not far away.
Kickapoo Adventures is 20 minutes away and offers kayaking, tubing, paddleboards, biking and more along the Middle Fork of the Vermilion River.
